I have been thinking of getting these becouse I have heard about people getting black dots on their Powerbook's wrist area becouse of corrosion caused by sweat and the bodies natural oils. And since my palms get sweaty at times while typing on the Powerbook, I have really been thinking of getting these. What do you guys/gals think?

Powersupport makes good products, I use their crystal film on my iPod mini and it works great.

I guess I don't see the point of "wrist rugs" since they cover up the AlBook's beautiful design... which is ironically what they are supposed to prevent...

I use the Protouch cover. If you clean it regularly, it saves a lot of wear on the keys and definitely protects against spills. If you let it get too dirty, it makes really crappy marks on your screen, which are difficult, if not impossible, to clean off.
