I have a Powerbook 15" and no matter what I do in the Color callibration area - i always seem to get a washed out desktop, especially the icons in the dock.

Can anyone give me any tips on how to just increase the colour itself instead of having to get all technical in a bunch of options I have no clue about? :)

The brightness and contrast is fine it's just the color itself is a litlle washed out.

Any hints, tips or even color profiles would be welcome?

Thanks

I have the same exact problem. I tried SuperCal but it still didn't look right after calibrating. One thing that did help was changing the gamma to 2.2 in the OSX calibrator.

What serial number is yours? I have a W8612 and have been considering heading over to the Apple store to compare the screens.
