Powerbook Disk image?

Hello all, I need to take in my PB for repair (Audio issue) and I need to backup all my data first. So here's my situation...

I have a 17"PB Rev. D, with 100GB drive, I have also have a PC, with 127GB free. I want to make a disk image of my PB, put it on my PC, then when get my PB back, put back all my data exactly the way it was... Everything, settings, programs, docs. etc... Possible? How long would this take?

I forgot to mention I want to erase my PB before I send it in, I have some sensitive data in it. Also, I'm assuming apple would do it themselves if I didn't...
