Powerbook fan and Tiger......

Since doing a fresh install of Tiger over the weekend, my 15" 1.5Ghz PB fan is running constantly.

Anyone else suffering from this?????

Open your activity monitor and see which app is the culprit. If it is virex 4.5, uninstall it, because many people are complaining about it. If no application is taking up your cpu resources, you might want to reset your pmu.

(I suppose you have already tried resetting your permissions)

I'm sorry for all of you having this issue...this one is one I would find intolerable. Hope the suggestions work!
