powerbook G3 as tv controller

ok well i had a wakey idea a few minutes ago.well here it is i have a powerbook G3 (firewire) and it has the ir port thingy on it and i was woundering is there any programs out there to be abe to use the PB asa tv remote it would be awsome. but knowing my wakey ideas there just wakey lol.

Thats a pretty wacky idea. Not sure the PB has the range you would need even if there was software out there.
