Hello,
since I have to replace the processor in my lombard I thought I might as well
upgrade its 8gb hard drive to.

I read on low end mac that certain ata-6 and ata-7 drives are not compatible with the lombard. It's taking me forever to search through serial numbers just to find an ata-5 drive and I'm afraid to say I'm not really sure what ata means.

can anyone recommend a lombard compatible hard drive? Or this this not such a big issue?

many thanks.
