PowerBook G4 1.33 ghz LCD Swap

Has any one install the 1.67 ghz High Definition LCD screen on a 1.5 or 1.33 PowerBook?

More than likely it will not work. Without doing research, I will have to say the connectors will be different.

The connectors are different. The only way to make it work is to get the 1.5 GHz high-res board along with the screen. The 1.67 GHz board will not work with your computer either.

EDIT: nvm, just realized that only the 1.67 GHz model came with the high-res screen. You can't do it.

Check the threads, you can actually put a 1920x1200 15" LCD swap into your Powerbook 15". I'll see if I can dig that thread up for you. Why only stop at 1440x960?

Here it is... Anyone interested in a Hi-def (1920 x 1200) mod for PB/MBP?

That's pretty awesome. But it's not the one from the high-res PowerBook, right?

No, the one from the Hi-Res PB was only at 1440x960.
