I've had my powerbook for 8 months now and I have been 100% happy with it. I love this computer, it's done everything for me and for my friends. Recently for the past month or so I have noticed that when I drag windows, scroll, watch flash animations, etc... I can hear a whining/hissing/clicking noise coming from below my keyboard. The sound seems to be coming from right under the q,w,a,s,z,w area of the keyboard. I have always observed my powerbook very closely. It has never done this before, it's not annoying to me, it just makes me wonder if this is something I should worry about. I dont understand why a processor, or gpu ( whatever it is making the noise, im guessing it is the gpu, because when im doing anything processor intensive but nothing moving on the screen, i do not hear the sound) would suddenly start making noise. Could it be a possibility of burnt thermal grease or something similar?.
