pimp-up help requested...

Isn't their anyone who pimped up his PB12 hard disc to 250gig?
Bizar..

I would like to replace the HD of my PowerBook G4 12/1500 with something decent. Can anyone tell me if this HD will fit & function? What is the max I can find for my baby?
Tnx!

I reckon that will fit.

You are looking for a 9.5mm 2.5" IDE drive. The largest I have seen is the 250GB, should work just fine.

I just replaced hd for my powerbook 12' yesterday. I got a WD 120G EIDE for less than $70 from bestbuy, which I think is a good bargin.

The apple guy in Bestbuy told me basically anything is EIDE or Ultra ATA-100 will do on powerbook 12', doesn't necessarily need a "mac compatible" lable.

And if you plan to do it yourself, like I did, check ifixit.com, there's a good picture guide.

good luck.
