Powerbook G4 12 inch 1.5 GHZ Memory issues

after the 10.4.11 update, I started noticing that my G4 Powerbook is only noticing 512mb of my 1GB stick that is installed. If I reset the PMU, NVRAM, PRAM, And then restart, the whole stick may show up, but the next morning, when I turn it on, right back to 768 (256+512)

Anyone having issues with their PBs?

Any Ideas would be helpful.
