Hi all, I just got a 2005 12” PowerBook G4 (last model). I partitioned the drive and installed Leopard on one partition, and since I was too lazy to set it up as new I used TDM to transfer the data from my 2005 iBook G4 (also running Leopard).
After boot up, however, I found out the menu bar is not translucent. The GPU is the Nvidia GeForce Fx Go5200. I know the Fx 5200 in my G5 doesn’t have a translucent menu bar so I was wondering if this was also the case here, or if it was because some weird thing happened during TDM (even though my iBook has a translucent menu bar).
I would like to ask if anyone else with a 12” G4 have a translucent menu bar or if this is just something I’m not going to have with my PowerBook. If other people have it I will try to reinstall and see what’s going on but I don’t want to waste extra time on this if there’s no point. I could not find any information about this GPU, only about the one in the G5 (which I already know about).
Thanks
