Does anyone know the drawback of using a 50W power adapter when the machine is designed for a 65W one?
My Powerbook G4 15" 1.25Ghz has been crashing a lot recently, and I'm wondering if it could be caused by the wrong wattage power adapter.
Any help appreciated!

I know on my Dell laptop for work... I have used an under watted power adapter and it severely degrades performance when plugged in (and even gives a warning message to that effect).

I'd think the Mac would run at a slower overall speed or it won't charge the battery unless it's asleep.
