Hello, as the title says I'm having issues with the touchpad on my powerbook. The problems range from the occasional spaz when putting my finger on the touchpad, or only being able to move in one axis. There are times where it works perfectly fine but it seems to be pretty short. I don't believe its a software issue as it will do it inside the boot picker, and on multiple versions of macOS. I did take it apart and reseat the flex cables but nothing has changed. Do I need to replace my whole top casing or can I replace the trackpad itself?

Here are the specs if they're relevant:
PowerBook5,2
2GB DDR SDRAM
PowerPC G4 1.25 GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 64MB
ADB-Based Keyboard/Touchpad - Backlit version (does not work)
