I have a Powerbook G4 A1025 DVI, when it is moved the screen goes black but power stays on. The only way to get the screen back is to restart. It also happened a couple times when it was still, I reset the PRAM and the other battery and it didn’t help. Could this be the logicboard or just the display?

Could be a ribbon cable issue, when you restart do you adjust the screen at all or it just works restarting

Question…

When you wiggle the barrel plug where it plugs in to the Mac is it loose?

Nope, it stays in fine. I should mention that when the screen goes blank, it seems as though the computer freezes as well. For example, if I am playing audio and shake the computer to replicate the issue, the audio will stop playing and the screen will go blank.
