Has anybody run into the same problem I have?
I connected My powerbook G4 1.67 to my dad's Samsung LCD half a year ago with a DVI to HDMI cabel and the colors are not right and oversaturated.
Now I bought two LG (32" + 42")LV3730 LED TV and they have exactly the same problem.
I opened up Displays to try to change the profile but it does not get better and even trying to calibrate the Display does not work and colors are still off.
Yes the profile changes but it always seems to be too pink.
I myself think its not the TV nor My PB but suspect the Cable to be of inferior quality.
Bought it online and the Cable is the DVI-d but without the 4 pins surrounding the long pin.
Its the one on the lower right.
Would that be the problem or might it be that not all pins are connected(Cheap Cable).
I never tried another one since I don't want to buy another one if it does not work either.
Thanks Perry
Edit.I found out those pins are Analog so they are not needed while connected to Tv.
