hi, i am new to these forums and don't really know what to do... so bear with me here. i love macs and everything to do with apple, i have an ipod touch and a macbook air, also my faithful powerbook g4 15" 1.67 ghz. recently i stopped using my powerbook after i got my new macbook air, a week ago i booted it back up and everything seemed to work fine. after getting it set up like i wanted it i entered in a cd for a movie that i like but after a few seconds of something that sounded like the drive reading it made two very faint beeping noises and then ejected the disk. i have since tried everything that i could to get it working, i went in to the disk utility and went through all the little tricks to get it running again, all to no avail. i then read that i could just reset the pmu and i tried that (note that my battery and pram battery in my powerbook are not working.) that did nothing. i am wondering if you guys have any suggestions to what i should do and if not just a good place to buy a superdrive. thank you
