PowerBook G4 - Did I kill it?

I was moding my Powerbook G4 17in when the display suddenly went black. It still gets the video signal, just no backlight.

I have replaced the inverter and inverter cables and nothing changes! What are chances that I have dont something to the logic board?

What would you do next?

Well "moding" might be a strong word. I am taking it apart so it can be used with the screen bent all the way back past flat. I have completely removed the screen from the body. It was working like that, then flickered, then went black!
