Powerbook G4 doesn't start up!! HELP!

Like 30 minutes ago my mac suddenly froze and I did a reboot.
Anyway since then it doesn't wanna start up... it stays at the blue screen so mac OSX doesn't wanna load I guess.
I have no idea what to do? my god this is depressing can anyone help me out here?

hi and thanks i was so shocked i didn't even think of doing that. got my disk repaired but I still think it's broken gotta do a back up now and buy a new HD.

It's easy to forget the simple stuff whist in the panic of having hardware failures.
