PowerBook G4 is not working properly!! Please help...

All the while my PBG4 is working smooth and until now I have face a couple of issues!!! First my PB cannot access flash page and it keeps telling to to install flash player over and over servaral times but the problem is that I already have the latest and uninstalled and re-installed all over again but still doesn't work!!! I really have no idea.... neither Safari 3.2.1 or Firefox!!! And then back to my Vox blog I cannot compose however the other macbook (intel) I have can perform both the encounter I had... can someone advise whether can you tell what is happening to my PB???

You can try and see if reseting safari will do the trick.
You can also try and delete the preference file for flash.

Really appreciate your reply!!!! Okay so how do I go about deleting the preference file for flash? Where do i find that file? Does it affect the player somehow?

Hi there... thank you for your suggestions man... I tried Firefox and Opera and both are updated! But it doesn't work at all... same thing goes for my Safari as well... I am not sure what is happen? Ever since my previous hard drive crash and I just replaced with a new drive with bigger capacity and use it for about 2 months already until now the problem arise... I'm really worry that my PB will give up on me man! Jesus....

Sounds like a possible bad install/update. I forgot what the most recent version of Safari is, but check the Software Update again. One other thing I would recommend is uninstalling Flash, and redownloading it and reinstalling it again. Could be the one you have now is not working properly.

If you don't have any other users, might be worth making another user and logging in to that account and testing the flash problems there could be a problem with your main account.

The Title bar should appear with BLACK text when type but it doesn't....

This the the body for composing new posting etc. However, it doesn't work and when right-clicked, it doesn't shows the right option. it should have it is as below just like the Add Tag being right-clicked!

Hi dude, there's only one user and that's myself only... no other user is involve.... what do you think could be the issue here? It really sweep off millions of brain cells man!

I work as a computer tech fixing windows systems, if someone comes in saying that a website won't load, the first thing i do is make another account. See if the problem still occurs then you know its a problem with the system and not the user profiles

My suggestion to you would be to make another account on your laptop, log in with it and see if the flash issues are occuring still. if they are it's another issue.

I just noticed that it keeps having this error at the page bottom!!!!!

And the strange thing is, The flash site i tried to load also have this message at the bottom before it load this:

Hi there, This is an old account or rather existing all along ever since i took back from apple store from replacement of hard drive. And i also tried with another account to log in and surf but i still face the same issues... doesn't work for my composing in Vox and the flash site...

actually i am suspecting it might be some java problem.... i ain't sure but just feel so but yet my java update is still up to date after i had my software update done a min ago! SIGH...

Ok we can try and remove some folders but make sure there backed up!

Go into hdd/library/applicationsupport/

You should see a macromedia folder there? if you do move it to the trash.

Relaunch safari see if it reinstalls flash for you

Hi what exactly the file is you suggests me to delete? Cuz i have macromedia freehand installed inside as well adn if i were to delete the entire folder, the whole application will also vanishes with it....

I've come to realize that the problem lies with Mac OSX Leopard... I've tried with another Mac with Leopard doesn't work as well.... However, I tried on Tiger Mac OSX and it's working well and fine... Can someone tell me what is wrong with Leopard???
