Powerbook G4 newbie, how to keep case in top condition?

I bought a A1106 1.5 GHz PBG4 (PB 5,6) running Tiger 10.4.11 about a month ago, and have upgraded it to a 240GB SSD and to Leopard 10.5.8, and I noticed the metal around the DVI port seems to have been hit with a hammer and also bent with pliers, who knows why, but other than that the case is gorgeous beyond some minor denting. This PB is my daily driver laptop for work and I really want to keep it in as great a condition as possible. Please if you guys could help me with cleaning, maintenance, and other work I could do to the machine's aluminum to keep it as brilliant, shiny, and undented as possible. Thank you!!!

Basically just don't use it as a coffee holder, table, seat, step stool, pry bar, battering ram, or anything else that eBay sellers always do to their laptops before selling them and you'll be fine.
