One night while typing I heard something broke inside, and ever since it makes a clock-like funny noise, has got extremely slow (I cant watch videos properly), but the worst thing is that after 30 min. It overheats so badly (mainly in the left side, right side is colder) that my fingertips burn when typing or using the track pad. That did not happen before. Is this too serious?? Could it get worse??

I put it to sleep every hour so it cools off a bit so I can type again, but it's getting unbearable and I need it badly for my thesis writing.

Less than a year ago a minor repair of the adapter port turned into a nightmare when the repairing staff in my local Mac store ruined my keyboard, bottom case and main logic circuit, so they had to replace all that for free (yeah, worth 600 pound). But after this it looks like I'm on the loosing side anyway :(

I don't trust these guys anymore. Pleas help a girl in disgrace. :-(
