Apple has cut an additional $180 (on top of the $150 discount) for PowerBook G4 for all education customers. I'm not sure if this offer has been extended to non-education customers yet. This offer expires on September 25, 2002--roughly six months after the new TiBooks were announced.

Hum . . .

I doubt the discount means much.

Apple's education sales have been below expectations for the year. They are probably just trying to give sales a little push, since the back to school buying season is about over.

Discount questions

What discount are you talking about? I dont see any new discounts on the site. There is the traditional educational discount....3199 down to 3007.. then another 128 off of that.. until 9/25..... but theres another discount perhaps? I am debating whether or not to buy one now, or hold out for more discounts or perhaps a 1ghz in the near future. let me know what all you guys think

peace
