I bought a 15" Powerbook G4 w/ 1.5 Ghz PowerPC G4(1.1) around June/July of 2004. At the time I thought that I was told the max ram was 1GB, and I thought that I upgraded it to that much. According to my system profiler I only have 512mb of ram. So I just did so internet surfing for ram and read that the max for my laptop is actually 2GB. Can anyone verify the max ram? and where are good websites to buy ram?

Yes the max is 2gb. You should be able to find ram on newegg, and you could always buy some on ebay.
