Previously had a hard drive go bad in the system. Replaced hard drive, and now can't boot off of new hard drive. Can boot from DVD fine, and can boot into target disc mode just fine as well. Have tried reinstalling a few times, reset PRAM and powermanager as well. Can't seem to get into single user, safe or verbose mode though. Any ideas what I can do?

Before you install your Mac OS, boot up with the Installation DVD and use Disk Utility and format the Harddrive first.

Befoer you format the Partition, in Options, select the right format of what OS you are going to use. This is very important, or you will see the Apple Logo again ;)
