powerbook g4 titanium stops charging normally at 80%

hello good day

been battling a odd problem.

my ti book stops charging at around 80%. it wil then proceed to very slowly trickle charge to about 90 percent and fully halt.

so i thought the battery was dying so i got another but it also behaves the same.

any ideas?

eh its the 1 ghz model

running at 1.27 rn

i tried to buy a new battery.. same as my old one in terms of third party..

it was at 0v and revived fine but drained quick.. got a replacement and it seems to charge to 100 fine now after over 10 charge and discharges
