Alright, I have a 17" Powerbook G4

ok, well ive been having a problem with it randomly going to sleep.. now ive hunted around and found various fixes.. etc.. and i think its fine (for now)

my question is this... is there a way for me to make sure everything is fine? or is there a good free utility i can use to check on my pbook...

There's a Hardware Test that came with the machine. It'll either be on a separate disc or bundled with the restore discs. If it's the latter, then boot with the discs inserted and hold D. It should say on the disc what you need to do. :)
