Sorry I'm a bit new at this. I'm trying to get a Powerbook G4 to output to a television which has RCA inputs. I purchased a DVI to Video adapter (M9267G/A) in the hopes it could convert the DVI signal to a composite one.

I can't seem to get the output to work though. When I try detecting the display, the TV will flicker but nothing happens.

After looking around, I noticed this adapter was meant for G5 models. Is there any way to get this to work on a powerbook G4, or should I give up and refund it?

Thanks!

G4 power books have an S-Video socket. They also came with an S-Video/composite converter. If you've lost that, then a trawl of ebay may be required.

Here's one where the seller will post internationally.

If you've money to burn, then look at this. This is on the UK store and I couldn't find it on the US one.

This, on ebay, should do the trick.
