Haven't seen this posted here yet, just found it, thought you might like it :D

You can have a 'portable' G5 if you'd like, it wouldn't really be that hard. There's only one thing missing. Buy a G5 Tower and a 23 inch Cinema Display. Have someone develop a VESA mount that will attach the display to the tower. Buy one of those APS Battery powered back-up systems. Charge up the cells in the APS system, and you're good to go!!

I'd prefer a car battery with a power inverter, myself. It'd certainly beep less.
