I have a 12" 1.5ghz Powerbook and want to upgrade the hard drive from an 80gig to 160gig or possibly more. Firstly is this possible and secondly does anyone know of any London based company that could do this for me?

Thanks
Paul

It is indeed possible to do this and not that difficult (although a lot more difficult than upgrading the macbook's). Go to ifixit.com/guides for an easy overview of how you go about opening the baby up. :)

For the Powerbook you will want a 2.5" IDE drive. I second the ifixit walk through. If you follow the instructions it is not that difficult. Just be careful when reconnecting your keyboard. If you don't get it plugged in all the way you'll have to open it back up and connect it.
