PLEASE HELP ME!
I've been a happy Apple PB12'' user for over a year and never had any problems until now. This is my first post. My PB has developed an irritating keyboard problem whereby it randomly freezes causing the keyboard to act as if the number lock is on. Happens in Finder and all programs, even at start-up causing problems with Log-in. My PB is as new, ie., the same as when l received it from Apple, built to order with nothing added. Repairing permissions and testing the hardware test CD revealed no issues as far as l know, though disk utility says its using special permissions: 33621. What is this? I completely reinstalled the OS yet the issue still persists. When it freezes l can only toggle the control + function + F1 and F2 keys to return it to normal until it acts up again. I don't know what to do. Secondly, how do l reload my iTunes library back to the computer from my iPod? I'm dreading the prospect of re-ripping my 150+ CD's. Please help.
