Found this online for next to nothing but am not sure if it is a macbook pro or a powerbook because of the connections on the side. Would anybody know, seller says its a "macbook" but I want to be sure before buying

That is a Powerbook. Macbook Pros never had a S-Video out port, only DVI or mini-DisplayPort.
