PowerBook Prices

Just wondering, will the prices for PowerbookG4 come down this Wednesday (17/7) ? I guess with the anticipated 1 GHz, this may be a reality...

NO... prices will now go down. Why would apple do that? there isn't a 1ghz model, and untill there is, the prices will remain the same.

i think he means when if a new model is announced on wed.

Apple did lower the price on the G4 PowerBook last summer without releasing a new model.. but I think that is unusual for them. The usual Apple plan is to keep the price pretty much constant and keep upping the specs.
