How do all,
Okay I bought some new RAM for my Powerbook, went to install it and like an idiot I didn't take out the battery and removed my old RAM and installed two new 1GB Chips. I'm hoping that leaving the battery didn't fry the RAM but I'm not 100% sure. When I start the Powerbook it usually has a Black Screen but on the odd occasion it goes to the grey screen loads okay and gets to the login screen, but thats when it freezes, sometimes it freezes as its login the screen and sometimes as i try to login, but for the most part a black screen is all that can be seen.
When I put back in the previous RAM the computer works perfect, using it right now.
So any advise or insight would be appreciated, really don't want to hear I fried it myself but if thats the case please inform me if you believe so.
Cheers
