I've had my 15" PB for about a month. First I had a "white spots" issue and had the whole screen unit replaced. But after that the latch wouldn't close and I noticed a tiny dark spot on the lower left part of the screen.

I just got it back from repairs again and they say they've replaced the casing on my laptop. The dark spot seems to be gone, though they didn't mention any work on the screen. The latch now closes but there is a gap of a few mm. The gap seems somewhat bigger on the right side than on the left.

Is this gap something that is normal? Will I be free of screen spot issues now?

Another thing...the repaired latch still does not work perfectly. Every now and then the closed powerbook will pop up when pressed a certain way. Are all powerbooks like this? Why couldn't apple just use a normal latch design instead of this fancy but problem-plagued design?!
