so my powerbook has this small bump on the top left area ever since i received the laptop. it looks like something that can come off, but everytime i try to rub it off it doesn't come off. is there some thing good i could scrub it with that won't ruin the screen? any other ideas as far as what to do? i mean it's not a big problem, just annoying.

If you haven't had your laptop long, I'd take it to an Apple store and let them remove it. If they botch the screen, then it's up to them to replace it.
On the other hand, if you have owned it for some time, will your finger nail remove it? Don't press on the screen too hard!

You could try the iClear cleaning kit. Or a camera lens cleaner cloth, but you might need some cleaning fluid to help. If you have a laptop, the iClear kit is nice. I don't use it near as often as they reccomend, so I'm only about halfway through the $25 kit almost a year later.
