Powerbook seems a bit faster after update to 10.4.2

Definately seems to be speedier especially loading iPhoto.

Or maybe its only because all the Apple updates I believe update the prebinding at the end of their installation

My PowerBook seems slighly faster. But I think that that can be attributed to the extra 512 of RAM and a clean install...

This is odd hearing all the horror stories on here about kernal panics, all peoples email vanishing, spinning beach balls etc etc.

My upgrade to Tiger was totally painless and I did a simple upgrade (by mistake I was too quick on the continue button). Update to 10.1 no obvious problems and hopefully this one seems fine as well.

Mind you I make sure I only install software that I check is Tiger compatible and I always make sure and repair permissions before and after any update.

Not only does it seem faster, but even my G5's XBench score has gone up about 20 points or so. Is it just me, or are images in Safari opening *significantly* faster?
