I have a MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06Ghz processor - with 8 GB or ram and a lacie d2 Quadra 1TB external hard drive. If the external hard drive is connected at startup, the powerbook will not start up it just hangs on the gray screen. I have to start holding option and tell it where to boot from, seems its getting lost? This just started happening about a month ago, Ive run disk utility and everything checks out. Has anyone else had this issue? if so how to resolve it?
