PowerBook start-up time.

Ok, so just a quick query for other PB users. My specs are below for this machine.

Bascially, whenever I start-up the PB from being off, it takes at least 10 secs to get to the grey Apple loading screen from the blank black screen. Is this normal?

I bought the machine 4 months ago but I am just curious to see if this happens with all PB's. It runs fine, and it has been doing this since I purchased it with no other problems.

I haven't timed to the grey screen, but from cold start it takes about 26 seconds to fully boot.

Compared to my windows rig, 55 sec to it desktop and another minute after that for the drive to stop belching and all the crap in the tray to load.
