So about 6 months ago, my powerbook g4 1.67's drive just starting spitting out any disc you put in. It would take them, whir around for a bit, then eject. It seemed like it had just died pretty much.
Today, on a whim, I decided to try a disc in the drive, and it works! Apple repair had given it up for dead, so why do you think it came back?
