I'm about halfway through a new spindle of DVD-R's that I purchased (memorex), and they've all burned fine so far. On my last few burns, though, I've had "Sense Key = Illegal Request, Sense Code = 0x30, 0x05, CANNOT WRITE MEDIUM - INCOMPATIBLE FORMAT" errors when burning with Toast. I'm using a new PB 12" 1.5ghz that I bought only a few weeks ago, so I find it hard to believe that this is the drive, but if it is I figure I should call Apple. What do you guys think? Thanks, Andrew

Are you up to date in Toast?

I'd say thats probably it, I believe Toast had some issues with Tiger (I'm assuming you have Tiger since your computer is new...) that were corrected on a recent patch.
