Powerbook Superdrive Replacement

The superdrive in my PB G4 ejects CDs/DVDs a couple of seconds right after I insert them in. So it seems like it is broken. I would like to replace the superdrive with just a normal cd/dvd player, which drive will work with my pb? Thanks.

If you're brave, you can buy a replacement drive here and replace it yourself. The instructions to replace it are on that same website: www.ifixit.com Otherwise any external drive will work just fine via USB or Firewire.
