Hey, i'm about to get a Powerbook 12" with built in bluetooth, and I was wondering a coupla things.

In this months MacUser UK, they have a whole feature about Bluetooth and Macs. They say the T610 has the messiest bluetooth signal of all of the models tested - can this impinge on Wireless network activity? Any of you got and experiences?

Have any of you used the remote control program so you can remote control iTunes or Keynote etc.? Is it any good?

What's the range on the average device?

The T610 is a camera phone. Can iPhoto read it like a camera or do I have to manually import the photos from the phone and then into iPhoto?

Thanks guys

I have a T610 and a G4 12" iBook. They play well together and I haven't noticed any problems with wireless lan connectivity, I nearly always have both switched on.

Yes the T610 has a camera but I haven't tried to make iPhoto recognise it. After taking a couple of photos you will realise that you won't want to take many photos with the phone anyway. If you want to transfer the photos you will have to use the bluetooth file transfer app and this works well once the phone is paired to the mac.

Checkout Salling clicker, it does cool stuff like pausing iTunes, DVD etc when you make or receive a call.

Otherwise, the phone's ui sucks and I find myself completely using it via my ibook for texts, address book updating etc. But then again this is my first phone that isn't a nokia and the only reason I got it was, it was a free upgrade and I'm counting down the 8months before I can get rid of it!!

Nokia definately do the best UI's, but I've seen far worse than SE - I had a T68 that I... destroyed

Anyway, thanks for the info
