hey guys i jus got my 17" lcd back today from getting fixed, and i connected it to my pb. but its weird cuz it doesnt look as clear as i thought it would be. the resolution looks kinda expanded...is this the way its suppose to look like?? i also noticed that on the powerbook it has the same resolution as the lcd, but when i unplug the lcd....bam beautiful pb screen again...is this normal?? or do i have it on the wrong setting?

Whats the native resolution of the LCD you are connecting to. If it is lower than the powerbook it will only go to the maximum res of the external monitor. When it looks clear after unplugging its because the powerbook has returned to its native resolution.
