A question which just occured to me. There is a fair chance that I am going to be living overseas (not in the U.S., that is) for a couple months. I've been working on the assumption that I can take my PowerBook, but the last time I made this kind of move I melted a brand new "multi-system" stereo because I forgot to switch from 110 to 220. Apple tech specs say that it takes power from 110 to 240, but I still am curious.

So, my question to the group is: Will a U.S. purchased PowerBook work in 220 environment, and if so, are there modifications that I would have to make?

It just occured to me that I certainly need a different plug. Right? Where could I get that? There is one online at the apple store, but it is listed as being for iPods. (Although the product description is more inclusive, but vague.)
