I have a PowerBook G3 Wallstreet with a battery that is not charging, It is a NEW Battery and I have no idea minus a Pram what could be wrong, any ideas?

Does it run on power w/o the battery in? Maybe it's a damaged power block? I've seen windows computers before that can't charge the battery but still are able to run off the power block they came with.

Or, it could be that the battery has faulty connections despite being new. Has it been able to charge before? Do you have a second battery that is able to charge with the power block while in the computer?

Is there any way you can charge the battery w/o using the power block you currently have?

Just a few questions that may help isolate the problem ;)
