PowerBook with AMD!

so i snapped a quick picture of this with my camera phone on an elevator! AMD Athlon 64 in a PowerBook!

ha, j/k. . .some of the guys i work with thought this would be funny. so they put this sticker on my PB! i think ill leave it on for a while to see if anyone notices. im sure ill take it off eventually.
 
Dell, AMD, whatever, they all use the special InstaEvil (TM) SuperSticky Ad Sticker System for their ad stickers.

Upon contact, a very small demon erupts from the sticker and tries to kill your computer on contact, causing it to overheat and melt the sticker into the casing of the laptop, making the sticker virtually unremovable.

Just kidding, you can take it off. But that's a pretty funny pic!

But BEFORE it does all that, it extracts all sensitive data from your HD, including your passwords, personal info, machine info, web tracking/IP sniffs ect ect and sends it unencrypted to AMD, M$ and everyone else in the entire world who has any internet connection anywhere. Only THEN will it proceed to fry your entire system.

Be forewarned though, the STICKER you can remove easily enough, but it's evil dameon will live forever inside your house, apartment, car, garage ect and wherever else you have had the computer since day 1 :p

NOW who's j/k, huummmm.........

Ha, that is pretty funny. :) I saw a peeled off AMD Sempron sticker at college a few weeks ago and I thought of putting it on my iBook G4- but I did not have the heart to defile my Mac. ;) :)

No, defiling it would be putting an "Intel Inside" sticker on it...

Come to think of it, thanks to bootcamp the new Intel Macs are probably eligible to carry the "Designed for Windows XP" logo ;-)

Actually they won't be untill theyre bundled with os 10.5

That is not much of a relief. The thought that I could one day find a "Designed for Windows" sticker on my Mac is just slightly disturbing. ;) :)
 
You guys messed me up. I was just scrolling through the forum home page, reading over the most recently posted on topics, and what to my wonderous eyes did I see? I did a double take and clicked on it in record time.

heh, the guys i work with wanted to put that one on also, but i wouldnt let them! i said if they bought me an MBP then i dual booted into windows, that i would let them put a windows sticker on. . . too bad they didnt want to buy me a MBP. I think id be willing to live with the horror of a windows sticker just so i could have a free MBP!!!

Sounded like a good deal to me. You get a free MBP and they get the joy of placing a windows sticker on a Macintosh- everyone is a winner as far as I am concerned. ;) :D

Tell them that you will put a windows sticker on your mac if they get tattoos that say "N'Sync Rules!"

lol, ill get a 'made for windows' tattoo on my butt where no one can see, and they can get 'N'Sync Rules!' on their foreheads. . . . that would be a fair trade!

LOL :D That would be almost as good as a free MacBook Pro! ;) :)
