I got hold of a powerbook that had stopped working. Up until recently it apparently worked fine. The fan spins up but the hard drive and cd drive aren't initialised. The screen doesn't light up at all.
I've taken it apart and after taking the heatsink off and trying it the fan spins continuously when powered whereas before it simply spun for about half a second then turned off so obviously the temperature's being detected.
I reckon the logic board's gone but I thought I'd try to get some other ideas. I've tried resetting the PRAM and the power unit.

Any ideas?
