So, my PowerBook which is about 1 1/2 years old now won't charge at all. The battery is simply stuck at 0%, and the moment the power chord is removed, it shuts down. Not the best laptop in the world.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this and know of any solutions? I'd rather fix it than buy a Macbook, as they're not particularly appealing at the moment, and I'd rather wait for the rev B and potential processor updates. However, if it's gonna cost a few hundred to fix it, I'll just buy a Macbook. It's not my main computer, hence a lack of motivation to buy another one, but I do need it.

doo the connectors on the battery or on the powerbook look funny? i don't know much about either batteries, or battery connections but thats is the first thing i would do. is check the connections, and if its even connecting or not.
