Hi would appreciate some advice
G4 PowerBook won't fully start and says I must restart every time I turn on
I've tried reinstalling osx but nothing comes up to select location ie hard drive
I did disk doctor on the hd and it came up:

Checking journaled hfs plus volume
Checking extents overflow file
Checking catalog file
Invalid node structure
Rebuilding cat b-tree
The volume hardrive could not be repaired
Error: file system verify or repair failed

Can anyone advise what I can do from here?!

That doesn't sound good, is there possibility of me getting any files from the hard drive you think?

This moment, it is pretty hard. There are hard drive data recovery software all around the inter web, probably it would help. I have no experience with data recovery so I cannot suggest to you.

Wouldn't DiskWarrior help here? I've had a bad B-Tree before (keys out of order) and DW fixed it.
