Its not working any more, the laptop woill not open by battery use unless it is plugged in the power outlet. I wann ask 2 things
1. is there some way to revive it perhaps and make it work again?
2. can i harm the laptop if i only use it by connecting it all the time to the power source? (im not sure but i think it becomes hotter when connected to the power outlet than when i was using it before only by battery use, i could be wrong though)

Batteries have a lifespan that eventually comes to an end. If its dead, its unlikely there is anything that can be done to "revive" it. Just pull it out and use the computer plugged into the wall. Replacement batteries are all over eBay if you think you'd like a new one.

does it make any difference if i pull out the battery or not since its not working? will it overheat it less or more?

I used my PowerBook without the battery for a bit. My battery completely died a couple months back.

I spent about $35 on Amazon for a new one and it works great.

Don't waste time trying to revive a battery that can't charge. :)

where can i pickem upat that price? and are you talking about new or used?

1. eBay, TradeMe or any other online auction site really.

2. Probably most of them will be used. But the batteries will still be in good working condition, and will hold a reasonable life. To make sure your going to get a good battery, ask the seller how long it holds in charge for etc... And buy from a trusted buyer.

Good luck :D

how can i know wich battery is the right one for my powerbook, i think there were a couple of powerbooks and i mnot sure which one is mine, how can i check?
